The quantities given in the Bill of Quantities are estimated and provisional, and are given to provide a common basis for bidding. The basis of payment will be the actual quantities of work ordered and carried out, as measured by the Contractor and verified by the Engineer and valued at the rates and prices bid in the priced Bill of Quantities, where applicable, and otherwise at such rates and prices as the Engineer may fix within the terms of the Contract. The rates and prices of major materials (steel pipes, electromagnetic meters and valves) will be paid upon delivered to the site according to the related items in the Technical Specifications.

5.1 CONNECTION.
Before the installation, make you sure to have cleaned the piping line where it desired to insert the equipment. Check besides the compatibility between the line technical data and those of the product (referring to the section 4). Installation steps:
1. fix the plate (2) to the wall or to the skid chosen to this purpose;
2. assemble the panel (1) on plate (2) using its screws;
3. make you sure of the stability and solidity of everything.
4. connect together the inlet line to the On/Off valve(3).
5. connect the outlet line to the end connection (4). For this case remember to help yourself to lock the outlet line with a hole-clamp.
Such operations must be carried out by capable personnel in the decompression plant installation. Before connecting to the line be sure to have discharge it from pressure. Make you sure to have put not in service the pressure regulator, that is, to have turned anticlockwise its knob (2). It’s recommended to clean the equipment before testing and putting on service, flowing some inert gas for a few minutes into the line. Test with pressure and check all the seal connection (3)(4)(5)(6) with the suitable searching loss liquid. It’s recommended to pressurize slowly by steps to the purpose to avoid adiabatic compression phenomena. Working check:
1. discharge the pressure regulator or the fluxmeter;
2. pressurize the line;
3. check the On/Off valve be turned off (3) and that there are no pressure losses.
4. depressurize, open the valve (3) and pressurize again; control the flow rate or the pressure and check the instruments.
5. turn off slowly the valve (3) and check the seal of the connections downstream of the same valve (1)(5)(4).
6. turn on slowly the valve (3).If occurs pressure losses connected to the product, please contact your supplier.
