登过泰山，上过庐山，游过武夷，去过雁荡，相比之下，总觉得黄山有其独特之处。正如人们所说：黄山兼有泰山的雄伟，武夷山的秀逸，庐山的飞瀑腾空，雁荡山的峰石嶙峋……。黄山，可说是四时美景如画。春天，奇花异卉争艳斗妍，加上百鸟啼鸣，花间蝶影，使人沉醉不知归路。夏天，绿树成阴，翠谷流泉；雷雨骤至，立即瀑布飞挂，山间龙吟。秋天，层林尽染，却依然鸟鸣花艳，仿佛三春二度。冬天，时时银装素裹，峰石松草，顶琼佩玉，蔚为奇观。
黄山的松、石、云、泉，更为奇妙，非常罕见，人称“四绝”。
黄山松是黄山奇景之一，它针叶粗短，干曲枝虬，顶平如削，苍翠奇特。它们或雄伟挺立，或倒悬绝壁，或屹立峰颠，或如振翅飞的雄鹰，或似浑身披甲的武士，或冠平如伞，或尖削如剑，苍劲优美，姿态万千。明代钱谦益在《游黄山记》中写道：“黄山无树非松，无松不奇。”确是真实写照。

In comparison to Mount Tai, Lushan Mountain, Wuyi Mountain and Yandang Mountain, I find that Huangshan Mountain is unique. Huangshan boasts its magnificence and splendor as Mount Tai, its enchanting beauty as Wuyi Mountain, its plunging waterfall as Lushan and numerous grotesque rock formations as Yandang Mountain. The scenery in Huangshan is as beautiful as paintings in all seasons throughout the year. In spring, it is abundant in exotic flowers and rare plants, with the birdsong and butterfly dance, which keeps tourists lingering on. In summer, Huangshan is celebrated for the exuberant forest, the lush green valley and bubbling streams. When a summer storm strikes, the waterfall pour down to the bottom of the valley, rumbling like roaring dragon. Autumn brings with it a world of boundless yellow tree leaves. And the sweet sound of birds’ singing makes one feel as if spring arrived once again. Huangshan Mountain in winter is a snow-covered fairy-land. The snow scenery looks just like jade-carvings and the oddly shaped pine trees and peaks are all blanketed in white, creating a breathtaking landscape.
Huangshan Mountain boasts four wonders—its uniquely shaped pine trees, cloud sea, grotesque rock peaks and hot springs.
The pine trees are one of Huangshan Mountain’s major scenic attractions. Their needles and leaves are short, with bent and crooked branches and flat peak. The pine trees look luxuriant and special. Some pines stand erect, some grow on a cliff, and some overlook the mountain range from a peak and some looks like eagles that are ready to soar into the sky. Some appears like soldiers with their helmets and armors on, getting ready to fight while others are as flat as umbrellas or as pointed as swords. Huangshan pines possess such an elegant and graceful pose. No wonder Qian Qianyi—a scholar from Ming Dynasty praised that there is no a single tree in Huangshan that is plain and ordinary.
