To begin with, I would like to extend my genuine thanks to all of you for giving such a valuable opportunity, and I am also honored to introduce myself here. My name is Ding Shu, 24 years old. I received my bachelor degree in Nanjing Artillery College in 2008. Now I am pursuing for my master degree in Hunan University, college of Politics and Public administration. During the past two years in Hunan University, with my passion, critical thinking, determination and persistence, my academic performance always kept distinguished among the whole department. Under the guidance of my tutor, I participated in the research of two scientific research projects. One is funded by National Natural Science Foundation, and the other is funded by National Social Science Foundation, both of which provide me a lot of experiences in scientific research, and I am firmly convinced that equipped with such experiences, I will be more confident to face the challenges on the way of academic research and overcome any difficulties and barriers independently in the future.
The ancients said, He alone is poor who does not possess knowledge and Interest is the best teacher. Fortunately, in the past two years of graduate life, I found what my interest is and gradually knew how I should exploit it fully. That is project management. At the same time, Professor Li Lin is highly respected in this field. Therefore I sincerely apply for the doctorate degree by studying from professor Li. If I am blessed to be a doctoral candidate , I am willing to be more industrious and committed myself to enrich my knowledge, take part in more research projects actively to contribute my own shares to the progress and development of this filed. My thesis can also rely on the research projects due to the similarities they shared. Furthermore, I will concentrate myself on the academic research and devote myself to reading ample latest English papers that will facilitate me to gain a much deeper understanding of project management and accomplish my SCI thesis. I am confident of being a well-qualified doctor.
