I am preparing my next trip to China with Mr SLAMA who will be in charge of the factory management (production field) as your assistant for production under our control. He is young and had a very high education at university. He has high level diplomas in garment technology and he is speaking 4 languages, including good English. He has an experience of 2 years only as a factory manager in an Italian factory established in Tunisia and manufacturing very sophisticated products for which he had a training period in Italy. I think he is a very professional and interesting person and he will help us to develop ROLAND. So, he will be in need of your strong support to control all workers. In the factory, we will organize with him all departments we are missing such as Research Department and Drawing Office. He will establish a quality control procedure and train the people on production line and for the finished products. Also, he will help the quality control people in Shaoxing about fabric. He will elaborate with them the process to follow and control the production. I will spend time enough with him, using your own assistance too till he understand correctly our Chinese factory. By the way, during my stay at Qiantan, I would have to spend one hour per day with you in order to teach you how to establish variances sheet for the production. This matter will take 3 or 4 days. Also, during the second week, I will teach you and the concerned staff how to prepare the budget and the strategic marketing plan. It will take 3 or 4days too. MULLIEZ and VANDAMME are ready to go very far with ROLAND by giving to our company the majority of the products they are making in China. This challenge seems very important. Many other customers are also waiting for receipt of our samples. I learnt that you are making good business. Congratulations.
