随着社会转型的不断推进,我国中学思想政治教育面临着越来越多的问题与困境,这突出表现在思想政治教育目标缺乏层次性,德育观念滞后;思想政治教育内容针对性不强,与社会现实和学生需求相脱节;学校思想政治教育渠道狭窄,形式单调,方法简单;思想政治教育评价滞后,随意性大,缺乏应有的激励和制约等方面。如何解决当前我国中学思想政治教育所面临的问题,增强其实效性已成为当前中学思想政治教育工作的迫切任务。杜威实用主义德育思想为推进我国中学思想政治教育提供了新的思路。杜威的道德教育思想是其实用主义教育理论的重要组成部分,处处渗透着实用主义强调经验、重视行动、追求实用、尊重儿童个性等基本特征。杜威把道德作为解决社会问题、增进人们幸福的决定性因素,围绕学校道德教育目的、内容和途径等问题提出了一套完整的道德教育理论,对增强我国中学思想政治教育的实效性有很好的借鉴意义。
本文试图从分析当前我国中学思想政治教育现状入手,坚持以马克思主义科学世界观与方法论为指导,对杜威德育思想关于学校道德教育的目的、学校道德教育的内容和学校道德教育的途径三个方面的内容进行系统阐述,并在解读《中共中央国务院关于进一步加强和改进未成年人思想道德建设的若干意见》的基础上,结合我国中学思想政治教育的实际情况,对杜威德育思想进行合理借鉴,寻求我国中学思想政治教育的有效途径。

With the advancing of social transformation, the ideological and political education for Chinese middle school students is confronted with more and more problems and difficulties which mainly include that the ideological and political education lacks hierarchical goals and advanced moral education concepts. Its contents, indirective and impractical, neither match with society reality nor meet the needs of students. Most schools have narrow educational channels, monotonous forms, simple methods, and outdated and casual judgment without relevant motivation and restriction. As being mentioned above, how to solve these problems and intensify the effect of ideological and political education is an urgent task for middle schools. Dewey’s pragmatic moral education thoughts provide a new way to promote the development of ideological and political education for Chinese middle schools. Dewey’s moral education thoughts are an important part of his pragmatic education theory, which has the characters of pragmatism which emphasizes experience, action and practicality and respects children’s character. Dewey regards moral as the decisive factor to cope with social problems and to improve people’s welfare and put forward a full set of moral education theory which focuses on the goals, contents and methods of moral education and has a good referential meaning for intensifying the effect of ideological and political education in Chinese middle schools.
With analyzing the status quo of ideological and political education in Chinese middle schools and the guide of Marxian scientific world view and methodology, this thesis systematically describes the goals, contents and methods of Dewey’s school moral education. On the basis of reading Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Suggestions for Enhancing Juvenile’s Moral Development and according to the real situation of ideological and political education for Chinese middle schools, the paper refers to Dewey’s moral education thoughts and offers the effective methods of ideological and political education in Chinese middle schools.
