韶关学院是一所公办全日制综合性大学， 创办于1958年，是广东省北部唯一一所综合性大学，文学类学科名列中国大学文学类100强。校园占地面积167万平方米，校园环境优美，生活配套设施齐全。学校有全日制在校生约2万人，成人教育在校生约1万人。学校先后与日本、韩国、英国、澳大利亚、俄罗斯、乌克兰等国家的近20 所大学建立了校际联系友好合作关系，每年可为国际合作单位提供一批全额免学费奖学金名额。

Brief Introduction to Shaoguan University
Shaoguan University is a state-run comprehensive institution which was founded in 1958. It is the only comprehensive university in northern Guangdong Province. Shaoguan University is one of the Top 100 Universities in arts majors in China. The campus covers 1.67 million square meters, with elegant environment and convenient living facilities. There are about 20,000 full-time students and about 10,000 students of adult education. The University has established friendly ties and cooperation relationship with some 20 universities of foreign countries such as Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, Australia, Russia and Ukraine. Shaoguan University offers Scholarship to her international students every year.
Shaoguan University has a Chinese Language Teaching Center specializing in teaching international students Chinese language & Chinese culture. International students’ classrooms are equipped with multi-media facilities, while their domitories are equipped with air-conditioner, television, telephone, internet, microwave oven and washing machine etc.. Food in school canteens has various tastes, hygienic, delicious and economic for students. It costs one student about 1 to 3 U.S. dollars for meals per day in the school canteen.
